The Arc of New Jersey Leadership Institute

This month The Arc of New Jersey launched its new Leadership Institute with an outstanding class from local chapters across the state. The program is designed to address a critical need, developing the next generation of leaders who will sustain the mission of The Arc supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.

Modeled on the successful program pioneered by The Arc New York, the institute focuses on enhancing self-awareness, building peer networks, and developing skills that can be used today, while preparing participants for the next level of leadership tomorrow.

The Institutes model is a comprehensive approach to personal and peer network development, combining classroom and experiential learning.  Throughout the year long program participants collaborate on a capstone project focused on real world challenges.

Globe North, LLC is honored to partner with The Arc of New Jersey on this program, and I personally am excited to be the trainer/coach for such a great group of leaders from local chapters across the state!
