Join us on Saturday morning for our Strategic Synergies Workshop where we will be presenting along with Robin Pierce, Executive Director of The Advocacy and Resource Center and Regina McKenny-Snead, Executive Director of The Arc Greater Hudson Valley.
In this session, we will share their experience with our innovative approach to strategic planning that ensures the voices of individuals with disabilities, families, board members, and staff at all levels are heard. Dreaming and working together they surface key challenges and opportunities, designing strategies needed to ensure long-term mission success. Strategic plans are developed in a way that strengthens the teamwork of board and staff, positioning them for successful execution.
Multiple chapters of The Arc have successfully employed this approach to do their strategic planning and enhance the alignment of their team across functions, locations, and levels. The session will provide an overview of the planning process and how it goes beyond traditional models in emphasizing a process of listening, learning, and setting organizational direction together.
